In
1895 the Perth Golf Club, the first established in Western Australia,
played on the Burswood site. In 1908 it relocated to South Perth where,
in 1937, it became the Royal Perth Golf Club.
Today, the Burswood Park Public Golf Course occupies this historic
site and presents players with a unique opportunity to play exhilarating
golf with the City of Perth skyline as a backdrop, in a delightful riverside
setting. Burswood is in all respects a challenging course, with nine lakes
coming into play on fifteen holes.
Player facilities are the best in Perth and include superb locker rooms,
Pro Shop, licenced Café, Sprig Bar and Function Centre, day-night
driving range, chipping and putting greens and parking for 200 cars.
